Opening lines are not my forte. I am 17 years old, and a senior in high
school. I currently live in Matthews, North Carolina where I have lived for almost a year now after moving from my hometown in Greensboro, North Carolina. I'm the oldest of four, with a younger brother and two younger sisters. I'm a self professed nerd and literature
freak. I'm a theatre kid, ice cream scooper, video blogger, zombie enthusiast who always has a dramatically short pixie cut to match my dramatically short height of 5'0''. I have a passionate love for chocolate soy milk, autumn weather, the Christmas season, and Scott MacIntyre (I'll be surprised if anyone knows who that is).

Over the past year I have gone through a lot, but through it I was lead by Christ to this trip. I'm incredibly excited to get to know everyone as we prepare for our adventure. While it still seems like a little while away (233 days, but who is counting, right?) I am so excited to see how we all grow from this trip and reach out to those who need Christ's love in their lives.
