Whats up!
Sarah West here, reporting to you all the way from Bermuda! I’m going to be one of your team leaders to Romania this summer, and I am beyond excited! Since being added to this blog, I’ve been attempting to catch up on all that I’ve missed! Trying to learn a little about each one of you! It is obvious that we are going to have the best month together!
I suppose I should share a little about myself! Well, I was born on December 21st 1989, (which makes me 20), but I was born again in 1996, and since then I have battled with sin, both big and small, but it is these hurdles in my life that have drawn me closer to Him, and allowed me to witness His sovereignty, grace, and ultimate power. Oh man guys, God is good!
Currently I’m in my third year as an Art History major at McMaster University in Canada (Hamilton, Ontario – to be more specific). I’m looking to complete my masters in Documentary Photography.
Yes, I’m a photographer. It is my passion, my soon to be career. I never want to be without camera – and am usually not. I choose to capture the moments that others might have overlooked. I want my photography to love out loud

To compact this, here’s a top 10 list of some of my faves…
1) Jesus – I love discovering more about Him, and realizing how vast this love truly is, and how small I truly am. We are a blessed nation to be chosen by Him and not forgotten. Wow.
2) Family – It’s pretty self-explanatory. I’m a family centered girl. They’ve got my back.
3) Laughter – I used to hate my laugh, but then one day I realized I can’t change it, so I threw my head back and just laughed as hard as I could. Thank goodness for that, because I laugh all the time!
4) Dance Parties – I love dancing. Oh you should probably know, my dance moves are ridiculous! That is what makes dance parties so much funnier!
5) Missions – My heart aches for the broken nation. I just want to be His hands and feet. I know that the Lord has called me to this. After being in Swaziland last summer, and leaving broken hearted for those children, I knew I wanted to continue loving on the mission field!
6) Music – From Piano, to Guitar to Singing. I love it all. Essentially, I love music. Being a part of music employs a sense of freedom. Freedom to sing at the top of your lungs and have it sound horrible, or sing quietly to yourself and it be beautiful.
7) Mornings – The start of a new day. A sense of new opportunity for laughter, friendship, community.
8) Coffee – It is what it is folks. I love me some coffee. All types. Any time of the day.
9) Running  – I love that running gives me an opportunity to clear my thoughts, start the day right, or just experience nature. I , but I love it.
10) Young Life – I currently am involved in YL here in Canada. Wouldn’t change it for the world! Great kids, great community, tons of laughter!

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” – James 1:2-4

You’ll come to realize that I talk way to much, and in this instance type way too much! I have so much more to say, but I will save that for when we all meet and prepare to travel to Romania! I simply cannot wait to meet all of you, I know that God has big things in store for this trip. 🙂
