Hey everyone! To start off I can’t begin to describe how pumped I am for this trip. I’m an AIM alumni- This will be my third mission trip with AIM. I was in Puerto Rico for two weeks this past summer of 2009 and in the summer of 2008 I was in Swaziland, Africa for a month. The time I spent on those trips has been by far the best time of my life. The way God moves in and through a team and the people they come in contact with, still leaves me speechless and
 in awe.

To tell you a little about myself…I am 17 years old and I love to hike, camp, hunt, fish, and pretty much anything else outdoors. My family and I live in the beautiful mountains of western NC and I love all the outdoor activities here! I am homeschooled, though technically I consider myself a junior. I am practically finished with high school classes. For the moment I am ‘dual enrolled’ at AB Technical College. I have always had a passion for biology, so I plan on going into the medical field as a surgeon after college. Really because I just love that sort of thing and it’s such a great way to “sneak” into closed countries.

I am the oldest of six children. One of my sisters was adopted from Haiti and one of my brothers was adopted from Liberia. We are also in the process of adopting 2 more children from Liberia, so I love kids and have a huge heart for orphans. I can’t wait to get to know you all better before the trip in a few short months! Much love! (ps. I have a facebook- look me up!)

In His Grip,
