Really, what am I NOT expecting? I’m expecting new friendships to be formed, I’m expecting to be tested by God, I’m expecting to miss being able to drive down the street to Dunkin Donuts to get a small coffee anytime of the day, I’ll be expecting to have a whole new appreciation for A LOT of things that I probably take for granted, I’m expecting to come out of this experience with a brand new, refreshed relationship with God, I’m expecting butterflies when our plane takes off (being as I’ve only ever been one one other time), I’m expecting to be completely out of my elements, I’m expecting to laugh a lot, and I’m expecting breath-taking views of everything I see. But overall, I think that if I “pre-plan” what I think will happen on this trip, God will throw some kind of a crazy, awesome curve ball, and make my expectations totally different from what I originally thought they would be. (In a good way!)
