Hey guys!!! My name is Emily Stoker. I turn 17 next Saturday and I'm a junior. I love god
with all of my heart and I try to live a life that will bring glory to
his name. I live in Orlando, Florida, and before you ask, I don't go to Disney every weekend. I'm not a big fan of Florida weather, but over time I've become used to it. I'm little - just 5'1 - but people say I've got a lot of spunk. I'm the third out of four children and I love being part of a big family.

Growing up, I was very committed to soccer. I played competitively for a little over 10 years but this year I realized that it was getting in the way of more important things and it really wasn't that fun anymore. I'm not playing anymore but I look forward to hopefully playing on our trip. Also, I grew up in a very musical family. When I was younger, I hated having to practice and such, but as I've gotten older, it's become my passion. I absolutely love to sing and play piano. I'm involved in choir at school and my youth group praise band. I'm attempting to learn guitar at the moment but I'm absolutely useless at it.

In my free time I love to read any thing and everything I can get my hands on. When I have a good book, my homework often goes undone. Don't judge me for this, but I'm a huge Harry Potter and Twilight fan. I just had to get that out there. :) I know my entry is really long already but here are a few more things I enjoy: drawing with sharpies, antiquing and collecting vintage jewelry, eating Chinese food, playing volleyball, playing in the snow, watching crime shows, and riding my bike.

I am so excited for our trip. My parents work for a missions organization, but this will be my first missions trip. I've always been fascinated by gypsies and God has given me a passion for helping orphans. I've never been away from home for a month but I have the feeling that once I get there, I wont want to leave.
